A shower & a birthday ~ 小孩子真是可愛之baby shower & 生日派對

I have been traveling quite a bit for work but I can always squeeze in some time for people I heart! After August weddings, there is baby shower and birthday party to attend. I think it is a sign that I need to jump on the bandwagon of starting a family. Since that special someone is still not in sight, I’ll hold that off for now. On that note, any of you can introduce me to one =]

I still remember vividly of Bobbi Jo’s wedding from last fall and now she is expecting the arrival of baby Lucy. I chose to be just a guest this time and let others host the baby showers (there were 2 and I only attended 1). It was great time spent with the new parents and friends. What did I give? A smock dress and hat from jacadi paris. I love this brand of quality baby and toddler clothing. Oh, here is a food for thought for anyone who will be hosting a baby shower: 1 of the activities at the party was that everyone was encouraged to paint baby onesies for Lucy. Everyone was engaged and loved it!

















Baby Chris is the 1st baby from my group of friends and he is just too cute! He celebrated his big 1st birthday this past weekend! I got him gift card and Bruno Munari's ABC and Zoo book. I want to get him to start reading in an early age. I didn’t bake a cake but I did make dessert though it was not enough to feed all. There was close to 200 guests and I made only 14!! They were gone in a poof so I have no picture to prove.







I had a blast with my camera at the party because there were lots of cute little models who posted for me. My camera loves them =)
