I was out and about in the Fisherman Wharf area today, despite the heat wave that is sweeping San Francisco right now and so are thousands of people from all over North Cal and tourists. What is the occasion?! It is the annual CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL!!!! For 2 days (September 6-7), you can sample some of the best chocolates or treats made with chocolate for a small price - $10 for 6 samples and $20 for 15 samples. All the proceeds go to charity. Knowing that I have an appetite smaller than my eyes, I bought the $10 ticket; however, my friends bought the larger amount tickets because they are planning to go back the next day.
The vendors included Ghirardelli Chocolate, Napa Valley Fudge Company, Ciao Bella Gelato, McCormick & Kuleto’s, Kara’s Cupcakes, Ana Mandara and so on. If you are in the city, make sure to stop by the Ghirardelli Square for your fix of chocolate~
